In an emergency, minutes matter, and so does telling people what to do

A burst pipe, a gas smell, a car trapped in a garage: each needs a different first response, and none of them fits a voicemail greeting. Callers in an emergency need direction and a person on the way.

Wenly handles the first thirty seconds. It works out what kind of call this is, gives the safety instruction for your trade, and gets the call to you.

How it works

What happens, step by step

  1. Rules for your trade

Before you go live, we set up what counts as urgent for you: no heat, an active leak, a trapped car, severe tooth pain.

  2. Wenly listens for it

It asks the questions that reveal urgency, and takes the address and number first.

  3. Safety comes first

For danger, such as a gas smell, the caller is told to leave and call 911. Wenly doesn't try to handle it.

  4. Urgent goes to you

The call is marked urgent, transferred to your on-call number if you have set one, and emailed to you in 30 seconds.

What you receive

  • An URGENT email within 30 seconds
  • A transfer to your on-call number, if you have set one
  • The transcript and recording by email
  • A weekly count of the urgent calls Wenly caught

Starter plan. Urgent transfer is in every plan.

What it does and doesn't do

  • Wenly isn't a substitute for 911 and it doesn't dispatch emergency services. When anyone is in danger, it tells callers to call 911.
  • Transfers only happen if you have set an on-call number and the call is inside your after-hours rules.
  • It never promises an arrival time. It tells the caller your team will confirm.

Common questions

Who decides what counts as urgent?

You do, with our help. We start from the defaults for your trade, then adjust them at setup.

What if my on-call person doesn't answer?

The caller is told your team will call back with priority, and you get the urgent email.

Does Wenly call 911?

No. It tells callers to call 911 when there is danger to people. It doesn't dispatch emergency services.

Can I change the on-call number?

Yes. Tell us who is on call and we'll update it. If it changes often, tell us at setup and we'll plan around it.

Hear it answer. Then start free.

On business plans: If we don't catch at least 10 leads you'd have missed in your first 30 days, you don't pay.

Have it call you

Your phone rings. It answers as your business.
